About the Trainer
Dr William Thomas is a retired US Air Force lieutenant colonel and former university professor, now offering leadership seminars and individual coaching. Since 2012 he has been working in Asia, helping to develop leaders who can take on new challenges as the world around them continues to change. He also serves as a career mentor with BestTop Career Consulting of Singapore. A combat veteran, Dr Thomas has been a professor at the US Air Force Academy and at Georgetown University in Washington DC, and he taught as a Fulbright Scholar at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. As an international marathoner he is one of the few people in the world to complete The Marathon Grand Slam – a marathon on all 7 continents and at the North Pole – and he shares valuable leadership and career-planning lessons from that multi-year experience in his book CROSS THE LINES: A Journey to Complete The Marathon Grand Slam.
