The Art of Persuasion By understanding how your audience are persuaded, you increase your chances of getting your ideas bought and actions taken. In this highly interactive and practical-based workshop, you will get to learn how to design your presentations flow using a structure approach to help you communicate more effectively and create a greater impact on your audience. Learning Outcomes This one-day customised workshop aims to raise the bar of your presentations by helping the participants: + Understand that presenting is essentially selling + Apply a 3-step process in designing your message + Learn techniques and tips that make your presentation clearer and more convincing About the trainer Edwin Sim is the Learning Strategist and founder of 5hue, a learning and organizational development consultancy practice. He has more than 25 years of experience in law enforcement, information and communication technology as well as human and organizational development in the Asia-Pacific region. Edwin adopts a candid, interactive and reflective approach in the classroom, where individuals are encouraged to discover their strengths to make quantum improvement leaps in their performance. For training to deliver results, Edwin believes training must focus on the needs of the organization and be connected with the people being trained. Simply put, he sees his role as helping to prepare people for new roles, redesign established practices and drive company change and culture. Edwin has also been spending his time training in the region and sharing his experience and knowledge with participants from China, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. A winner of the Leonard Nadler Award for his outstanding leadership, scholarship and service by the George Washington University, Edwin holds a Master of Human Development & Leadership (GWU) and a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) and recently attained a Graduate Diploma in Applied Positive Psychology.
